Ship 468 Is Looking for Adventurous Young Men And Women.

Are you interested in:

- Learning to Sail?

- Going SCUBA Diving?

- Motorboating & Waterskiing?

- Sea Kayaking & Canoeing?

- High Adventure?

You can do all of this and more with the Sea Scouts of Ship 468.  Youth, male and female, ages 14-20, are invited to attend our meetings Wednesday nights at 7:30PM and sail, boat, SCUBA dive and fish with us weekends. The Texas Gulf Coast provides excellent weather for year-round nautical activities.

Sea Scouts are members of the Venturing program of the Boy Scouts of America. Ship 468 is sponsored by St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Pearland, TX, and is a member of Bay Area Council, BSA.

Members of Ship 468 SCUBA dive, sail the SSTV Gremlin, a Little Harbor 38 (below),  the SSTV Venture, a Catalina 30, and the SSTV Cazador, a Hunter 27. We have restored and are cruising and fishing from a 1967 27' Chris Craft Commander.  We also sail NACRA 5.2, Prindle 18',  and Hobie 16 catamarans, and small sailboats (Sunfish, Laser, Dolphin Sr., and Zuma).  Sea Scouts also participate in kayaking, windsurfing, rowing, canoeing and other high-adventure activities.
